TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -As the Florida Panhandle cleans up from Hurricane Michael, a high school football team in Tallahassee traveled to Calhoun County to help.
On Saturday, players and coaches from Lincoln High worked with the Blountstown High School football team to clean up their stadium.
The field and bleachers were damaged after the hurricane. A member of Lincoln's football team told WTXL he knew he had to help.
"It's really about helping your neighbor, its deeper than football. We came out here to help the Blountstown football team. They went through a lot with the storm. It really did a lot of damage to their city, but we did our best to help them out" said Evan Quigley, a Lincoln High School football player.
