TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Leon County Board of County Commissioners met for their annual retreat to discuss ways to build resilience during disaster situations.
Commissioners on Monday discussed the ways a community looks to local leaders during times of need, such as Hurricane Irma and the on-going fight against crime in Leon County.
At the retreat, commissioners reviewed and changed a five-year strategic plan to help improve Leon County's economy, environment, ways it is governed and quality of life.
