Amelia Island, FL (#TALACC2014) -- The Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce Conference is beginning and what better way to start than with the visual, video 101 session.

The hands-on class was taught by Natalie Pierre, a multimedia-journalist with the Tallahassee Democrat.

Attendees of Video 101 learned, and practiced, how to produce a video for their businesses all from a smartphone.

One Tallahassee business man said his company just launched a new website and that the class helped show him ways to build content.

After the seminar he said, "We are looking for compelling content to put up there, so coming up with ways we can tell our story in the modern framework of things is a blessing to have that kind of training here at the conference."

During the class, Pierre stressed the importance of story telling in videos. She showed attendees different ways to capture emotion and engage their audience with simple techniques.

Everyone in the class followed along on their phones, making it a very involved session.

Video 101 was full of great information and is only the start of more business resources to come at the conference.
