WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - It has been more than a month since Hurricane Michael left a path of destruction in its wake, and some people in Wakulla are still recovering.
Wayne Alvin, a Woodville resident, said his trailer was ruined in the hurricane with mold and FEMA told him the trailer was inhabitable. He and his family have been homeless ever since.
"These are all the clothes that I have and I'm tired you know, and I am the head of the household and it just hurts me because I have to deal with everything and I don't know what else to do," said Alvin. "I don't know what else to do."
Alvin added he would do anything to get a roof over his family's head.
