The Florida Department of Environmental Protection says the overflow was caused by the heavy rain over the weekend.
The overflow occurred around 10:30 a.m. Monday morning. City crews arrived to discover that untreated domestic wastewater had overflowed from a manhole a parking lot at 480 Appleyard Drive.
