GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Gadsden County Sheriff Morris Young and his staff visited the inmates at the county jail on Thanksgiving Day.
He posed with a few of them while the inmates enjoyed a hot Thanksgiving meal.
Young said it warms his heart to see the smiles on others' faces, especially those who are in need and less fortunate during the holiday season. He said they are still family and friends who just made bad choices.
Young and his staff also had fellowship with parishioners at the ChristTown Mission.
The meals were donated by various churches and organizations.
