GADSDEN COUNTY. Fla. (WTXL) - A Gadsden County deputy was laid to rest Friday.
Maximilian Sander, who was critically injured in a motorcycle crash in May, died over the weekend.
A processional left Friday morning from the Sheriff's Department and drove to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for the services.
Those who knew Sander say he left his mark on the community.
The services were followed by a reception at the Veterans of foreign Wars Cemetery.
