GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Gadsden County commissioners are looking to fill two positions for members on the Board of Tourism.

Commissioners say one needs to be filled by an elected official and the other can be someone who has experience in the tourism industry.

Applicants can apply online on the Gadsden County website.

Commissioner Brenda Holt says the person who fills the position will be a key part in building tourism in the county and showing that it is a worthy place to visit and live.

Security at the Edward J. Butler Building was also discussed Tuesday night.

Commissioners say that having a law enforcement presence will make visitors feel safe and that person will be able to assist those in need.

Commissioners agreed to vote on the issue in a later meeting.
