TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) – The FSU women's soccer team defeated North Carolina on Sunday, making them the 2018 NCAA National Champions
FSU players showed up and earned their championship title with a 1-0 win against UNC.
"We all just worked so hard, and my teammates don't get enough credit, you know, for my goals, but I just put it in. They do all the hard work, for sure," said FSU midfielder, Dallas Dorosy. "Always make the near-post run, and it was a little in front of me, and I just dove with everything I had. I didn't even know it went it at first. I looked, and it was in the back of the net. I couldn't believe it."
This is the Noles second title in program history.
