TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-- This Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 9-10, the Animal Service Center (ASC) is celebrating love with a feline adoption event. There will be waived adoption fees on cats and kittens of all ages.

The event will be held at the ASC from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday or from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

All cats adopted through the ASC are micro-chipped, vaccinated, collared (with an ID tag) and many are already spayed or neutered. If the cat/kitten you’d like to adopt has not been fixed, a $50 deposit (fully refundable with proof of surgery) will be required.

If you’re concerned about finding the right feline fit for your family, the ASC’s staff can help answer questions about temperaments and personalities in order to help make the best possible match with potential adopters. Remember to bring your cat carrier with you to ensure a safe ride home for all.

The Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center is operated and maintained by the City’s Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs Department.
