BENTON, N.C. (WTVD/WTXL) - A fourth person has been arrested in connection with the to the disappearance of Live Oak native Cole Thomas.

According to WTVD, the ABC affiliate in Raleigh, Jeremy Brian Carpenter of Taylor Falls, Minnesota was arrested on July 18 and is due for a court hearing on Monday.

Last week, WTVD reported that a grand jury in Johnston County handed down "multiple indictments" after receiving information last week from the Benson Police Department and the North Carolina Bureau of Investigation.

That same week, three others, Julian Valles, Jr., Rudolph DeLeon, Jr., and Anthony Ridell James, Jr., were arrested and charged with "felony concealment of a death."

The affiliate reports that Carpenter has been charged with 4 counts of felony obstruction of justice, and 1 count of felony concealment of a death.

They say he is being held on a $500,000 bond.

Cole Thomas has been missing since Thanksgiving. There's no indication that authorities have located Thomas' body.
