TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A former employee at a local Wendy's has been arrested after getting into a fist fight with a group of customers.

Lakedra Carter, 23, has been arrested.

According to a probable cause document, Tallahassee Police were called to the Wendy's restaurant on West Pensacola Street about a fight on April 25. When they arrived, they spoke to a victim who said she was with a group of friends and ordered food at the restaurant.

She explained they didn't hear the employee that called them when their order was ready. The employee, later identified as Carter, began yelling and cursing at them for not picking up their order on time.

That's when an unknown woman approached them and threatened the group. Documents say that when the group tried to leave, an unknown man attacked one of the male victims.

During the fight, the victims tried to get back in their car to leave, however Carter, the unknown woman and the unknown man followed them, opened up the doors and continued assaulting the victims.

After reviewing surveillance footage, documents say investigators were able to confirm the victims' stories and charge Carter with burglary with person assaulted.

She was taken into custody on Wednesday where she remains in jail. Carter was also wanted on a petit theft charge for stealing from a Tallahassee Walmart.

Documents say Carter was fired from her job due to the incident. Investigators have not yet identified the other two suspects in the case.
