TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- A former Tallahassee attorney has been disbarred by the Florida Supreme Court following two felony charges.
Eric Hurst was arrested in a child sex sting operation in April 2013, where officers posed as minors on internet sites.
According to court documents, Hurst had a conversation with a 14 year-old boy and later traveled to meet the child.
Hurst, a former attorney with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation was immediately disbarred in a November court order.
He is currently serving two five year and eight year prison sentences for the associated charges.
