ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — Authorities in Florida are searching for a convicted sex offender accused of luring a woman into meeting him for a "job interview," raping her while she was passed out, and dumping her outside of a restaurant.

According to WFTV, Ormond Beach police are searching for Jason Minton.

They report the victim and Minton met up at a restaurant on Feb. 18 for what the victim believed to be an unconventional interview over dinner and drinks. Police say Minton had told the victim that he was trying to hire a secretary and that the position paid $35 an hour.

Once they sat down in the restaurant, the woman told police that they both ordered a drink. Later on, Minton ordered them three shots and the woman had a glass of wine.

WFTV reports video from the River Grille showed Minton dragging the seemingly incapacitated woman out to his vehicle.

Minton is accused of driving away with the victim, raping her, and driving her back to the restaurant where he dumped her inside her car. Police say the vicitm's mother got worried after the victim failed to respond to her messages and drove to the restaurant.

There, they found the victim passed out in the passenger seat of her own car.

Ormond Beach polie have an arrest warrant for Minton and are charging him with sexual battery and kidnapping. Police are asking anyone who sees Minton to contact them immediately.

Minton is a convicted sex offender and has prior arrests for sexual battery on a victim under 16 back in 2000.
