MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida man is facing battery charges after slapping his girlfriend with a cheeseburger.
Kyle Jones, 30, was arrested by the Martin County Sheriff's Office after his live-in girlfriend called deputies, who said Jones abruptly woke her up by slapping her in the face with a cheeseburger.
The victim said the attack continued as Jones pulled her hair and kicked her down the stairs.
When deputies arrived on scene, the woman was still covered with remnants from the burger.
Jones admitted only to a verbal dispute, but refused to say anything about becoming physical with the victim.
He was charged with battery and taken to the Martin County Jail.
