TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The world famous FAMU Marching 100 will unveil their new uniforms during the halftime performance at the Florida Classic game this Saturday.
The new uniforms were designed and developed after the band received a generous $500,000 donation at last year's classic from FAMU alumni Bernard and Shirley Kinsey.
The band is also celebrating success in academics, as many of its members are honors students in stem programs such as nursing, food science, psychology, animal science, biomedical engineering and computer science.
