TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The family of a Tallahassee mother who was murdered last week has started a GoFundMe page to raise money for her funeral expenses.

On Nov. 30, Elisa Thompson, 26, was found dead inside her car in a parking lot on Sharer Road. Someone called police when the mother of two didn't pick up her kids from daycare.

The GoFundMe page was created on Saturday and has raised over $11,000 since then.  According to the page, some of the money will go towards Thompson's kids and their expenses as well.

Thompson was enrolled at FAMU from 2013 to 2016 where she earned her bachelor of Science degree in Health Informatics & Management.

Police say Reginald Gibson is responsible for Thompson's death and disappearance. You can read more on that story here.
