TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee's third largest annual event, Experience Asia, is Saturday.

Bloxham and Lewis Parks will transform into a miniature version of Asia for the 13th Annual Experience Asia Festival.

The annual festival brings the many types of cultures throughout Asia right here to Tallahassee. Taking the stage will be a group of acrobats from Taiwan, not to mention performers from Orlando, Tampa, and of course Tallahassee.

Everything starts Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and runs until 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Asian Coalition of Tallahassee Chairman Clyde Daio says the festival is an important way to bring the community together.

"This is the best way for us to let the community know that there is a group of people here called Asian Americans who are willing to help and make our city a better place to live, as well as add more diversity to the community," said Daio.

The first festival was held in a gazebo and has blossomed over the years.

Event planners say they're expecting 15,000 to 25,000 guests to show up to Tallahassee's third largest event.
