TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Our next "Building Tallahassee" report will take an exclusive look at the work going into a new restaurant by the Chain of Parks.

The owners of Sage restaurant are opening an Italian steakhouse called (ill-LOOSE-oh) "Il Lusso."

That's Italian for "luxury."

The restaurant will offer prime, dry-aged steaks, homemade pastas and seasonal side dishes, working closely with local farms.

"Il Lusso" will have outdoor seating that overlooks Park Avenue.

The owners say their new restaurant won't be like Sage, but it will have a unique feel, in a new space and place.

"You'll think you're out of town, and we want to bring that ambiance and that feeling that a lot of guests that we'll have get when they travel, and they go like, 'Oh, we wish we could have something like that in town,'" said Co-Owners Craig Richardson and Terry White. "So, we want to make a commitment to the community itself and bring something like that, especially in the downtown."

WTXL ABC 27's Stephen Jiwanmall has more on the new restaurant and the rest of the building at 201 East Park Avenue.

That's coming up Monday, in a full "Building Tallahassee" report.
