ATLANTA (AP) - Former Atlanta Public Schools superintendent Beverly Hall has arrived at the Fulton County jail on charges associated with her alleged involvement in a standardized test cheating scandal.
Hall arrived at the jail Tuesday night, and her attorney, J Tom Morgan - former DeKalb County District Attorney - says Hall's legal team planned to have the disgraced educator out of jail before the end of the night. Hall and 34 other educators have been indicted on charges including racketeering, making false statements, theft and more.
Hall's bond was initially recommended to be set at $7.5 million, but was later reduced to $200,000 Morgan said.
