TAYLOR COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Unofficial election results in Taylor County have been delayed after a glitch with one of the county's vote tabulating machines.
Dana Southerland, the Supervisor of Elections in Taylor County, confirmed that they are recounting the ballots.
While they had the totals from on machine's memory cards, they started having trouble with them at the end of the day. To ensure the results are correct, they're hand feeding the more than 1,000 paper ballots into another rabulator machine.
They anticipate to be finished with the process by the end of the night.
