(WTXL) — Ahead of the Jan. 5 U.S. Senate runoff race in Georgia, Democratic candidates Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock will be visiting three cities in South Georgia on Dec. 18.

The first of the three stops will be Bainbridge, where it’s being billed as a “meet and greet” with Jon Ossoff from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at 100 Boat Basin Circle.

According to the signup website, Ossoff will be “meeting with supporters, taking questions, and encouraging the community to get out and vote in the Georgia run-off election.”

Next, Ossoff will stop in Thomasville at The Plaza Restaurant & Oyster Bar (217 Broad St, Thomasville, GA 31792).

For the last stop in Valdosta, Ossoff will be joined by fellow Democratic candidate Rev. Warnock for a car rally from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with the location also still being determined. Doors will open at 3 p.m.

All three events have a disclaimer on their signup websites that reads:

“All attendees MUST adhere to CDC guidelines by wearing a mask, social distancing, and following other safety measures related to COVID-19. This gathering is subject to change or cancellation based on updated health and safety guidelines released by the CDC and local health authorities.”

The Republican Party of Georgia also announced recently that Sen. David Perdue would be visiting Cairo on the same day as the Ossoff, Warnock events.

Early voting for the U.S. Senate seat runoff began Dec. 14, with Ossoff and Rev. Warnock facing incumbents Sen. Perdue and Sen. Kelly Loeffler respectively.
