TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Urban League wants to help everybody in the city to register to vote before the deadline this year.

The Urban League will host several voting drives over the next couple of weeks starting this Saturday at their Southside location and at the Piggly Wiggly, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

They'll also be at Fresh for Less on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Those who stop by will also get a t-shirt and mask.

Urban League president Curtis Taylor says voting isn't just about you, but our future.

"This is one of the most important elections of our lifetime," said Richardson. "We cannot afford to sit at home. We cannot afford to not play our part by going out and voting."

The deadline to register to vote in the 2020 election is Oct. 5.
