UPDATE:

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A man is in custody after getting shot at by a Leon County deputy and leading law enforcement on a car chase.

Around 1:15 Sunday afternoon, the Leon County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a domestic issue at Cascades Park. When they arrived, they say they surrounded 22-year-old Calvin Abdul, who tried to get away in a car and almost ran over a deputy.

The Sheriff's Office says a deputy fired shots at Abdul, but it didn't stop him. He led Leon County deputies and Tallahassee police on a chase.

When he finally crashed the car, Abdul fled on foot. Law enforcement finally caught him not far from the crash scene.

LCSO says Abdul is now at the hospital under observation.
