More than 700,000 people around the world have recovered from coronavirus

(WTXL) — As of Wednesday, April 22, more than 700,000 people around the world have won the fight against COVID-19.

According to the latest data from Johns Hopkins University's Coronavirus Resource Center, 703,512 people have recovered from COVID-19.

The data shows that most of the recoveries were in Germany followed by Spain and China, where the outbreak began.

In the United States, there have been just under 76,000 recoveries. The U.S. has reported the most positive cases nationwide at more than 800,000.

Florida is currently at 28,309 cases.
