MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - In this segment of COCA Connection, we're talking about the #Neverforgottencoastmural in downtown Tallahassee.

Erica Thaler, with the Council on Culture & Arts, and Alex and Jessie, the designers of the mural, joined us to talk about it.

Alex said the mural is about "Florida Love basically, and that Florida is strong, we're here for you and here for our neighbors and this community as a whole."

Alex said he was personally affected by Hurricane Michael in Mexico Beach because his father-in-law lives right off of the intercoast and it's been inspiring to see him and his wife support the community.

So far, they have raised over $10,000 and they said it's really been awesome to see the community come together and get behind this campaign.
