TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The new e+ Mobile app will allow City of Tallahassee residents to stay up to date with information and make utility payments with a just a few taps.

The City of Tallahassee unveiled a new mobile app on Friday morning that provides residential and commercial utility customers with the ability to pay their utility bill from their smartphone, tablet, or other mobile device.

The new e+ Mobile app allows users to make payments directly from their mobile device using a credit card, debit card, or bank account as well as access to utility account details in order to manage their household's energy and water usage.

Officials say the new app is just one of many products and services designed to provide customers with greater choices and flexibility in managing their accounts. The new features, such as access to utility account details an the ability to monitor their household's energy and water usage, are one of the ways officials say they can help their residents save money.

The app also features the ability to report power outages and view the City's outage map at any time so that residents can stay up to date during storms and emergencies.

Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum pointed out the new e+ Mobile app as "another great example of the City's commitment to deliver top-notch customer service".

The new e+ Mobile app is free and can be downloaded by searching City of Tallahassee in the iTunes or Google Play store. Specific instructions on downloading and using the app can be found on the City's website.
