TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--The Chiles High School student who collapsed Thursday on campus has died.
According to school officials, Davion Stephens was taken to TMH where doctors determined he had an enlarged heart and went into cardiac arrest.
Stephens was a senior at Chiles. The principal sent the following information out to the Timberwolf family:
"It is with deep sorrow that we have been asked to share the following information with you following the passing of our beloved student Davion Stephens. We thank you for your thoughts, prayers and continued support for Chiles High and the Stephens family. Grief counselors will be at school tomorrow for any students having difficulty at this time."
