TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The ice skating rink at the center of Tallahassee will no longer be just a holiday activity. As construction continues at the Centre of Tallahassee, developers share more details on what to expect to see this coming spring.
Officials are now going through the logistics of making the ice skating rink permanent. In order to maintain a year round rink, it will be located indoors. They say admissions and prices will not be affected by this move.
Developers also said they would soon receive a delivery they had been waiting on for the last 12 months. On Monday evening, the 'open pit' for the restaurant, Dreamland BBQ, which is located on the side of the brickyard was delivered. Officials say by the end of this week, they will release the official schedule of upcoming concerts at the Centre of Tallahassee.
