TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - As the athletes of the Winter Olympics take home their medals, the 9th Annual Capital City Senior Games is just getting started in Tallahassee.

This years events will showcase the talents of more than 400 area seniors.

Organizers say the games are designed with all fitness levels in mind..

Competitions include an array of activities like archery, bag toss, basketball, bowling, cycling and golf, just to name a few.

"The games are something for our community as a whole for senior athletes to be able to compete, be apart of their community and show what they can still do," one organizer said.

The games will go until Mar. 12.

Those at least 50 years of age who want to participate in the Capital City Senior Games can sign up in person or online.
