SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Two people charged in connection with the death of a Suwannee County man are set to be released from jail.

Bond was lowered for Jeremy Carpenter and Anthony James.

They are accused of obstruction of justice and concealing Cole Thomas' death in November 2016.

According to ABC affiliate WTVD, the judge reduced Carpenter's bond from $500,000 to $75,000.

He will also be able to move home to Alabama and stay with his mother.

James' bond was lowered from $30,000 to $3,000. He's also be allowed to move to a relative's home.

Both men have spent about eight months in prison. Cole's family says they are not happy about the judge's decision.

Their next court date is in May. Thomas' body has still not been found.
