BAKER COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - After an investigation, the Baker County Sheriff's Office has arrested 20 suspected drug dealers in the county.
They say that the investigation into known drug traffickers in the area began back in June 2017. Over the months, deputies were able to identify numerous people in connection to drug trafficking in the area.
Deputies say the investigation came to a close on Nov. 30.
All 20 of those arrested have been charged with the sale and possession of different illegal substances. Several of those people were also charged with selling drugs near J Franklyn Keller Intermediate School.
The list of those being charged is below:
- Roman Thompson: sale/poss synthetic narcotic x4 arrested 12/4/2017
- Debra Lynn Gainey: sale/poss schedule II/III arrested 12/4/2017
- Aubrey Ruise: sale/poss crack cocaine arrested 12/4/2017
- Philip Pendelton: sale/poss meth (in prison arrest warrant)
- Arthell Gerard Church: sale/poss crack cocaine x2 sale/poss marijuana x1 within 1000’ of Keller Intermediate School
- Alyssa Graves: sale/poss methamphetamine (in prison arrest warrant) within 1000’ of church
- Theodore Surrency: sale/poss prescription medication/ sale/poss heroin x2 within 1000’ of Keller Intermediate School
- Randall Barton: sale/poss prescription medication arrested 11/30/2017 within 1000’ of Keller Intermediate School
- Kimberly Barton: sale/poss prescription medication arrested 11/30/2017 within 1000’ of Keller Intermediate School
- Emmitt Paige: sale/poss powder cocaine x5 arrested 12/4/2017; 1st case within 1000’ of Keller Intermediate School, 2nd case within 1000’ church Faith Bible Church on CR 229, 1 from a residence
- Robert Stoutamire: sale/poss prescription medication within 1000’ of Keller Intermediate School
- Derrick Rhoden: sale/poss methamphetamine
- Christopher Cole: sale/poss methamphetamine within 1000' of Keller intermediate School (in jail out of county arrest warrant)
- Atari Wilcox: sale/poss marijuana, crack cocaine x2 arrested within 1000’ of Keller Intermediate School 11/30/2017
- James Thompson: sale/poss crack cocaine x2 arrested 11/30/2017
- James Render: sale/poss mollie MDMA X3 arrested on 11/30/2017 Within 1000’ of Keller Intermediate School
- Larry Major III: sale/poss mollie (MDMA) arrested 11/30/2017 Additional charges poss firearm by convicted felon, poss Crack cocaine with intent to dist, poss controlled substance (mollie) all within 1000’ of Keller Intermediate School
- Tyquand Robert Major: dealing in stolen property (stolen firearm)
- Charles Ruise: sale/poss Hydrocodone with in 1000’ feet of Keller Intermediate School arrested 11/30/2017
