FRANKLIN Co., FL (WTXL) - 12 people in Franklin County have been arrested on drug charges according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say the Carrabelle Police Department, the Apalachicola Police Department and the Franklin County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit assisted in executing the arrest warrants.
The Sheriff's Office said in its press release, "Over the past year the Sheriff's Office has had an increased number of complaints about Meth in our county and feels it is becoming a much more serious problem for our communities to face. Even though the people arrested were some of the major players dealing in Meth, we're working diligently to eradicate this drug from our homes and our community."
Most of the charges were for "sale of a controlled substance" according to authorities.
