TIFTON, Ga. (WTXL)-- One week after a deadly hit and run in Tifton, one person is arrested.
Investigators say between 10 and 10:30 p.m. on September, 62-year-old Jannie B. Lester was walking on Armour Road when she was struck and killed. She was found by a passerby who called 911.
On Saturday, 28-year-old Jacoby Johnson was arrested and charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident. Tifton Police don’t expect to file additional charges.
