MARIANNA, Fla. (WTXL) - Marianna Police are asking for your help finding two suspects who are accused of robbing a liquor store with a pump shotgun.

The Marianna Police Department said that on Thursday, around 10:45 p.m., they were called to the Big Star Liquor Store on 2992 Penn Ave. about an armed robbery.

When they arrived, MPD reviewed the surveillance footage from the robbery and called in both Appalchee Correctional Institution and Jackson Correctional Institution K-9 tracking teams.

Officers say the surveillance video showed two black men coming into the store. One of them is seen holding a plastic bag, while the other points a pump style shotgun at the store clerk.

One of the men demanded money and the other held the store clerk at gun point.

Eventually the men ran away. When K-9 teams arrived, they were unable to find a track.

MPD says the man holding the plastic bag is described as around 5-foot-9 tall, about 160-170 lbs., wearing grey basketball shoes, light colored shorts (possibly jean shorts), a black long sleeve shirt, and a white shirt or rag wrapped around his head and neck covering his face.

The man holding the shotgun is described as around 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 tall, about 140-150 lbs. They say he had on black shoes, black pants with white dot pattern, a black long sleeve shirt missing one sleeve, and a black shirt or rag wrapped around his head covering his face.
