TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- An accreditation agency is looking for input from the community about the Leon County Sheriff's Office.

A team of assessors will arrive on November 18 to examine the sheriff's office's policies, procedures, management, operations and services. They're from the commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation. LCSO was originally accredited in 1997, but they have to comply with about 260 standards in order to receive re-accreditation.

They're asking the general public to help with their assessment by sending comments. You can send comments by mailing a letter to CFA, P.O. Box 1489, Tallahassee, FL 32302. You can also call the Leon County Sheriff's Office at 850-606-3337.

For more information and additional ways to contact them, visit their website at flaccreditation.org.
