(WTXL) — G. C. Murray II from the Innovative Community Engagement Foundation joined ABC 27 Friday morning to tell us about their Share the Warmth event.
The Innovative Community Engagement Foundation is hosting its annual Share the Warmth event on Friday, December 20.
The service project is through their ICE 4! Kids initiative and it allows them to directly supply students with warm weather clothing during the holiday season.
Each gift, which costs roughly $20 to buy, contains a sweater, a pair of gloves, and a knitted cap. Over the last few years, they have given these gifts to nearly 300 students and are looking to do more this year all throughout the state.
The event will be held at the Springfield Community Center (1702 Joe Louis Street, Tallahassee, FL) at 4:30 p.m.
