(WTXL) — Terrence Smith joined ABC 27 Friday morning to tell us about the Burghalie Art Awards.
The fundraiser event is a night of dedication to emerging talent and outstanding leadership. Organizers say they wanted to bring awareness to all for the talent and good deeds done in Tallahassee.
They will be recognizing different forms of art such as modeling, photography, and more. They will also be recognizing the impact of specific individuals and organizations on the community.
The event aims to raise money for a youth mentorship program set to launch this fall.
General admission tickets cost $9 and VIP dinner tickets are $20.
It's happened at the Four Points by Sheraton Ballroom at 316 West Tennessee Street at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29.
