TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Chi Theta Zeta Chapter joined ABC 27 on Tuesday to tell us about the 11th annual Community Baby Shower.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Chi Theta Zeta Chapter will be hosting this event in partnership with March of Dimes and the City of Tallahassee.
The Community Baby Shower is for expectant parents, recent parents, and caregivers of infants and children to provide information, educational materials and resources from local agencies.
There will be free food and free shopping for gently used items as well as a special gift for expectant mothers and prize giveaways.
Participants will get information on how to access resources in the community and education on nutrition, safe sleep, breastfeeding, selecting a pediatrician, and more.
The Zetas are bringing this information to the community as a one stop resource.
The goal is for every family to leave equipped with the resources and support that they need to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
This free event will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Walker Ford Community Center.
