TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Since 1963, LeMoyne Arts has been a place for Tallahassee artists to showcase their work.

This school year, LeMoyne is offering free membership for every art and science teacher in Leon County.

That offer is good for public, private, religious or charter teachers in Leon County. It includes free entry to the gallery and resources that teachers can take back to their classrooms.

“Teachers in a normal school year are dipping into their own pockets to find supply money and get materials for their students,” said LeMonyne Arts executive director Lori Carlson. “We thought this would be a good opportunity and chance to include those art and science teachers here at the gallery at LeMoyne.”

LeMoyne is also hoping that Leon County teachers will take advantage of their sculpture garden and brings their K-12 students over for a field trip.
