TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man was arrested on drug and weapon charges after deputies made a traffic stop.
Nicholas R. Oddis, 38, was booked into jail on Wednesday after Leon County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on Rankin Avenue on a black Chevy SUV for a moving violation.
After Oddis, a convicted felon, told deputies he did not have a valid driver's license, he was placed under arrest and searched, according to an LCSO post on Facebook. Deputies said he was found to be in possession of a plastic container with meth.
In his vehicle, deputies said they found a digital scale, multiple clear baggies, drug paraphernalia and a .25 caliber semi-auto firearm.
Oddis was charged with the following:
- Driving with License suspended/revoked
- Carrying concealed weapon
- Possession of a weapon by convicted felon
- Possession of narcotic equipment
He remained in the Leon County Detention Center on Friday on a $14,500 bond.
