Now that we are firmly into the springtime and racing towards summer, Minute Maid slushies are making a comeback at McDonald’s.

These limited-time additions to the McDonald’s menu have historically featured flavors ranging from cherry limeade to orangeade. The flavors for the 2020 slushie menu include two previous popular flavors, blue raspberry and fruit punch, and a sweet newcomer: pink lemonade.

Minute Maid pink lemonade is sold at many grocery stores, but why settle for an ordinary beverage when you can get a frosty, blended treat?

According to Instagram user @glutenfreeinfrederick, the icy beverage from McDonald’s is a nice blend of tart lemon and sugary sweetness.

If you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth with one of the new pink lemonade slushies, you might want to download the McDonald’s app to see if you have a coupon for a free one! For a limited time, McDonald’s is offering coupons for a free small Minute Maid slushie with a minimum purchase of $1.

Simply download the app and then search under the Deals tab on the bottom of the screen to see which offers are available to you. Not every McDonald’s location has this free pink lemonade slushie deal, so you’ll want to check.

If you don’t have a coupon for a free Minute Maid pink lemonade slushie, you can check to see if there’s a discount deal for the drink, as some locations are offering a small slushie — of any flavor, including the pink lemonade — for $1.

Even without the savings, a pink lemonade slushie won’t break the bank. When I checked my McDonald’s app, I found a small slushie for $1.99, a medium size for $2.19, and a large slushie for $2.39. You could get a decent slushie headache from drinking any of these!

Cheers to summertime flavors!
