TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Actor Tony Hale won his second Emmy on Sunday night, and he's not forgetting where he came from.

Hale, who graduated from Leon High School in 1988, performed with the Young Actors Theatre here in Tallahassee.

When he was accepting his Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role on Veep, Hale thanked, "My theater family, Young Actors Theater, in Tallahassee, Florida..."

This was Hale's second Emmy win. His role as Gary on Veep also won him the 2013 award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

Actress and comedian Cheryl Hines, who also grew up in Tallahassee, tweeted: "@MrTonyHale. Yes!! Representin' Tallahassee! Congratulations on your Emmy! Soooo proud! #Emmys2015."
