LOS ANGELES (AP) — Bruce Jenner's publicist says the Olympic gold medalist was not texting while driving when he got into a chain-reaction crash in Malibu that left a woman dead.
Alan Nierob said Sunday that Jenner will provide his cellphone records if requested by investigators looking into the cause of the four-vehicle accident.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's officials said investigators will likely seek cellphone records for all the drivers to determine if distracted driving played a role in the crash.
In his first comments since Saturday's accident, Jenner called the crash "a devastating tragedy" and extended his condolences to the victim's loved ones. He also vowed to cooperate with the investigation in every way possible.
