Here's what people think about James Holzhauer, the man currently conquering 'Jeopardy!'

James Holzhauer is becoming the king of "Jeopardy!," no doubt about it.

The man is clearly a gambler (he's a professional sports bettor who lives in Las Vegas) and has figured out how to really set a strategy for the game and stick to it. He's earned more than $1 million on the show in 2 weeks.

Holzhauer holds the "Jeopardy!" record for most won in a single day with more than $130,000. He's following a method some believe is controversial in which he jumps around from category to category in order to throw off his competitors.

He bets big on Daily Doubles, and it's paying off. In an email interview with NPR, Holzhauer said his strategy is simple ... he finds spots he knows well and bets big once he identifies them.

Starting at the bottom of the board helps Holzhauer start with a big bankroll to take higher risks, he told NPR.

In an interview with the Naperville Sun, Holzhauer said he will go to libraries to read non-fiction books in the children's sections because they are full of facts and photos with the nuts and bolts of a subject.

Even the top all-time "Jeopardy!" players are chiming in: Ken Jennings called Holzhauer's ability to win "absolutely insane." Jennings earned more than $2.5 million on the show in 2004.

Jennings appeared on 74 shows.
