WILBUR-BY-THE-SEA, Fla. (AP) - Former professional wrestling star Kevin Nash and his 18-year-old son were arrested after allegedly fighting at their Florida home.
Nash and his son Tristen each were booked early Wednesday into the Volusia County jail on a misdemeanor battery charge. Each was later released.
Police tell The Daytona Beach News-Journal (http://bit.ly/1Ek7DYP ) that Nash got angry when his son arrived home late and intoxicated. Another relative told deputies the teen also shoved his mother.
The family's attorney says the teen "was out of control, and the father was defending his wife."
Nash signed a contract in 2011 with WWE's Legends program for promotional and TV appearances. WWE officials said Wednesday that contract "has been immediately suspended until this domestic dispute is resolved."
Nash also is an actor with a role in the upcoming movie "Magic Mike XXL."
