Tallahassee man sentenced to 17 years for sexually assaulting woman

 TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man found guilty of sexually assaulting a victim in her own apartment has been sentenced.

Anthony Crews, who was found guilty at trial in January of two counts of sexual battery and attempted sexual battery, has been sentenced to 17 years in the Florida Department of Corrections.

The sentenced will be followed by five years of sex offender probation. He has also been labeled a sex offender.


TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man is charged with of sexual assaulting a woman.

According to the probable cause affidavit, 21 year old, Anthony Crews committed the alleged crime on September 11, 2016 after the victim had friends over to her apartment to watch football. 

The victim says, the alleged assault happened after everyone left the apartment and the victim found crews sleeping on her couch.

Crews was released on bond today and is asked to have no contact with the victim.
