Individuals looking to apply must be at least 19 years of age. Will have to take a drug test and have a routine background test.
Candidates must be of good moral character; must have completed a basic training program for Law Enforcement or Corrections approved by the CJSTC (Florida certification)and be able to provide a copy of the state of Florida certification for Law Enforcement or Corrections examination results showing a passing score.
