TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The Lafayette Arts and Crafts Center is asking for your input.

The City of Tallahassee Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs is hosting a series of public workshops to get your advice on how the center can continue to grow.

Organizers say, "over the years, the Lafayette Arts and Crafts Center has become a part of the Tallahassee fabric, offering a myriad of creative classes for children, youth and adults. The center, which has provided everything from pottery to crochet classes, is seeking input to weave into its future."

The community is invited to share ideas in two interactive workshops. Each will feature small groups working together to come up with ways the center can expand and enhance its offerings.

The workshops are set for Wednesday, January 20 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., and again on Saturday, January 23 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m

Everything is at the Lafayette Arts and Crafts Center (501 Ingleside Avenue). It's free to take part and all are invited.
