GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office has announced the capture of two people wanted for injuring a person with a rifle round fired into a Dollar General Store in Georgia.

The Georgia fugitives are Alana Kirkpatrick and Jesus M. Rodriguez, both wanted on felony warrants, according to a news release.

Authorities said a bullet from an AK-47 rifle struck a person in the store.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigations contacted the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office for assistance in finding the suspects.

Captain Collins, Special Operations commander for GCSO, deployed a 15-man SWAT team on a manhunt for the suspects.

The team arrested both suspects at 98 Sarge’s Lane in Quincy about 11 p.m. Thursday.

Both suspects have an extensive criminal history, including weapons charges, the news release said.
